I like it, but can you change the speed? Perhaps have spinning cubes of themes, and see if the kids can guess them.
    Adjective cubes
    Story cubes
Then they could make ones you can TOUCH and hang them in the room. It could be a cool installation of language – on screen and spinning above heads.

That is wild! At first it was making me dizzy, but I like how you can click on a face and make it stop.

So imagine a group activity where people get one of these, and they take turns stopping the cube to make that a step or start for a story?

    Nifty!

Sort of like story dice. I like it. Would be cool for like an improv role play type thing. I am an ESL teacher, so you could take Melissa’s idea of a themed cube and act out verbs or adjectives etc…

      Thought you might like this.

Hi. My name is Brandin Brosh and I am a student at the University of South Alabama in EDM 310. It is a technology bases course and everything is done online. I will be following your blog for the next month and creating a blog to summarize your posts at the end.

I love this picture cube and I think it is a wonderful idea. I think a good idea for use of this in the classroom is to make a bio about yourself and use each side of the cube to tell a little about yourself. It could be used sort of like a powerpoint but more unique. If there was not a way to type text on to each side of the cube you could make a power point and screen shot each slide and make it in to a picture. I love this idea and will imbed this in to my blog and share it with my fellow classmates in edm310.
